I have just finished reading Jesus Culture. It's helped to confirm, and put language to, so many things we've been seeing over the last couple of years in our ministry in Medford, Oregon.

This really is a time when God is raising up many courageous, passionate, worshipful, prayerful, anointed, naturally-supernatural revivalists. Because that is what God is doing right now, I don't believe this book could be more timely!

For me, the most helpful section was Section 2 "Under Covering". I found it convicting to think about my own situation, and I've been challenged to pursue a deeper heart of spiritual sonship with the 'fathers' in my life. Just this teaching on sonship alone makes this book worth reading. This vital area of Kingdom life has been badly missed in previous moves of God, and in the lives of so many gifted revivalists. I am so excited that the Lord is bringing this revelation to under-gird the extraordinary giftings and anointings that He is releasing. I also heartily agree that the generations MUST find ways to join and work synergistically for the revival that is coming.

This book is full of encouraging stories of what God is doing through these young revivalists. If you need encouragement and inspiration to help strengthen your own personal evangelism, this book is for you. But it is also a prophetic call for more of these young "burning ones" to arise, which is why I believe this book will have such a great impact.

The book is also funny. I loved the story of catapulting the fish across the room with a Q-tip. Banning has a way of communicating profound truth through funny stories which are easy to remember.

I am so glad I read this book, and I will be passing it around our leadership team for our IGNITE ministry here in Medford. I am just so delighted that I am alive to experience this extraordinary time in history. God is moving. Are you on board?
